Album Review

Fantastic synth, bass & drums instrumental prog-rock. Fuck “math rock” this is 100% prog-tastic! Not a rip-off yet still inspired by Goblin’s soundtracks for Dario Argento & George Romero horror classics, Tangerine Dream, early Gong, & Wendy/Walter Carlos. Spacey, trippy & totally sci-fi/horror sounds sans the movie.
(((((1))))) Mid-paced, Goblin-ish synths, “Echoes” Pink Floyd-like bass lines both fold out to a nice groove.
(((((2))))) Synergy? Tangerine Dream? Hypnotic main synth-line, nice jazzy drumming. Never mind the “Dark Side” play THIS at the Laserium!
((((3)))) If you lived in through the 70’s this will remind you of: Early computer commericals, sci-fi soundtracks & “head music”.
(((((4))))) Slow, forbodding deep space piece, progressing into insane fast-paced early Claudio Simonentti worship. Sounds like a leftover from the “Cosmos” PBS series.
(((((5))))) Epic, space-jam with waves of synths & incredible drumming & bass lines.
((((6)))) Slow, dreamy, sound more Morricone than Goblin. Nice.
((((7)))) Epic, serious U-turn, slow-motion tones from “deepest space”, and quickly moving plutonian bugs moving across the landscape.
