Pastoral folk. This is the first CD rerelease of Vashti Bunyan’s 1970 folk masterpiece. The album is all gentle wisps of songs, most two minutes or less. Vashti’s voice is sweet and aching, the instrumentation always gentle and appropriate. This is a gorgeous, classic album. All songs are excellent, start with: 1, 18, 7, 5, 8, 9, 13, 16
