LBM team up with the string section of the English Chamber Orchestra and the result is very special. Zulu traditional songs, LBM songs, and European classical music are all covered. The sound is rich and warm, and excellent, though I still prefer their a capella music. LMB gets classical and the ECO gets African on different tracks – a definite blending of traditions. There’s a strong spiritual quality throughout.

*1. Sweet midtempo & lyrical that builds. Some spoken word
*2. One of their classics, this take bright, hopeful and warm.
3. Midtempo w/lots of strings/perc. Gentle & lightly bouncy.
4. The gospel standard given a bouncy, joyful rendition.
*5. The happiest version of Dona Nobis Pacem ever!
6. Swaying, bright yet formal perc/strings/trills.
*7. Starts slow, like daybreak gets warm, happy, sweet.
8. LBM does Bach. Strings/vocal harmonies, elegant & light.
9. Duet w/operatic tenor, slow. Very different styles of vocals.
10. Now it’s Mozart. Slowish w/strings/piano/great harmonies.
*11. South African Baroque? Warm, midtempo & joyful.
12. A gentle lullaby, delicate, loving, lovely.
