21st century blues. This definitely ain’t no old black guy sitting on his porch in Mississippi blues. This is blues that has an American Express card and has used it to travel the world, sip martinis in jazz clubs, stop off in Nashville, and occasionally pay homage to its roots. Vocals and harp backed by wicked band, esp. good guitar.

*1. Down & dirty rock guitars back vocals & harp.
*2. Uptempo w/a twangy bounce. Great touches from organ/strings.
3. Guitar/vox/perc/harp. Driving contemporary blues w/Latin hint.
*4. Sort of a happy roadhouse meets James Bond. Cool and odd.
5. Lazy and laidback. Great work from the band.
*6. Starts slow, gets into a jazz-spy theme groove.
7. Country swing w/a fun retro bounce.
8. A surprisingly good mambo. Nice percussion especially.
9. Good organ/guitar/perc. Midtempo, rock based.
10. Blues/jazz blend. Midtempo, quirky, instrumental.
*11. Sonny Boy classic. A fairly straight treatment.
12. A slow love song.
