Cooper-Moore / Assif Tsahar – Tells Untold

Rootsy duo between Tsahar on sax and Cooper-Moore on a variety of percussion instruments. The compositions mostly have simple themes, though there are plenty of wild saxophone moments. The disc has a mellow, folky world music vibe, but there are a couple of weirdly electronic-sounding tracks to break things up.

*1. Soft clarinet groove, melodic percussion
2. Happy NPR sounding flute head, features strange mouth percussion
3. Slow drawn out and bluesy
*4. World free jazz groove
*5. Lots of mood changes: Starts with harp, then goes speedy and free, then gets folky
6. Echoey, electronic sounding (a departure from the rest of the album)
*7. Pretty lullaby
8. Metallic electronic sounding percussion
9. Skittery duet followed by childlike theme
