THE VANISHING side
(((1))) This one isn’t listed as a re-mix but it does sound different than the album version. More up-tempo than the original, lots of droney synths, goes from disco-ish to a more layered, distorted sound. Nice!
(2) UGH! AVOID! They re-mixed it with house beats! The vocal track is killer but the rest gets completely crapped out by that awful house music b.s.
VON IVA side
(((1))) Odd-ball mix of soulful female vocals, thudding bass & loud synths. The drumming on this is killer - I just wish there was more of it.
((2)) This re-mix starts like Devo’s “Whip It”, awesome synth parts but the vocals come off distorted & kinda cheesy.
