This Dublin-based choral group has exquisite harmonies and glorious voices. Tracks range from 12th century chants to Irish folk music to one with vocals by Elvis Costello. Many tracks are hymns, or prayers. Mostly a capella, though a few have minimal musical accompaniment. Gorgeous, though some may find it too sleepy as almost all tracks are slow, lovely and not exactly fun.
*1. Slow & delicate w/soaring female soloist.
*2. Like a Gregorian chant.
3. A slow, romantic folk song w/a sad, fragile air.
4. Female lead, a sweetly sad love song. Lovely.
5. An 8th century poem set to music. Slow & lyrical.
*6. Female lead/chorus/midempo & dramatic.
7. Another sad love song in the folk tradition.
*8. Driving & strong work song.
9. Slow, delicate Kyrie, beautifully performed.
10. Slow, deliberate, a bit dark but lyrical.
11. Female lead, a slow sad 17th century poem.
12. Sax & voices team up for a slow, lovely sound.
*13. Male voices, slow love song, just gorgeous.
*14. Dark, dramatic chant w/drum. Driving, very cool.
15. Prayer from a 14th century poem. Slow, serious.
16. Lovely harmonies in a prayer of memorial.
17. Delicate hymn to the virgin. Extra reverent.
18. Love is sad, music is slow & pretty.
19. Um, no. Downbeat techno & over-produced pseudo-pop.
