Bama & The Family/Asiko "Feeling Good/Drums of Asiko" – Damn! New afro-style funkiness. Bama & The Family (side A) gives you some Fela Kuti styled afrobeat. It's a bit looser and more raw. Nice horn section with guitar and keyboards. Very cool. The Asiko track is nothing but the drums. Hot pounding percussion with plenty of energy. Both are great. Play!!
My Picks: A, B

A)(Bama & The Family) Midtempo afrobeat style funky groove. Long drawn out sax notes and Fela style guitar and keyboards. Nice “ah-ah” vocals mixed in with various calls and shouts. A bit looser than the usual tight Fela Kuti sound. Nice! Other than “ah-ah” vocals and occasional shouts this is an instrumental.

B)(Asiko) Tribal sounding drums and other percussion. Damn! Uptempo drumming with bongo, clave, tambourine, and much much more. Wow!!! The beat is quite hypnotic. Breaks out with wah-wah guitar in the last 10 seconds. Nice!!
