Timothy "K.C. Stomp" – A reissue from 1972, this is some good solid funk. It's very loose and laid back, almost a little sloppy sounding but it totally works. Guitar and keyboards are featured with a nice rhythm laid down behind. Both tracks are instrumentals. It's pretty raw and raunchy. Definitely worth checking out if you dig the funky beats.
My Picks: A
Katie P. 3/21/05

A)Starts with some cheering, a party atmosphere. Lays out a lowdown funky groove. Nice organ along with solid bass and kind of a crazy bluesy lead guitar. The handclaps keep it loose. A little trombone too. Solid funky instrumental.

B)Smooth and sexy. Keyboards are featured on this with guitar taking a backseat (used as rhythm). Instrumental.
