Cesaria Evora’s goddaughter in her 2nd release. She’s from Cape Verde (by way of Sengal, Mauritania, New England, and LA) and has a lovely, warm, rich voice. Backed by a tight & jazzy band, this release is lightly joyful and full of sounds to make you smile, tap your toes, and dance. Really, really nice stuff -- not a bad track.

*1. Lazy, midtempo sway. Warm & delicious.
2. The chorus of little girls adds extra charm. Sweet, midtempo.
*3. Fast lively samba w/nice horns/perc/vox.
4. Relaxed & romantic dance, very well done..
*5. Bright & happy and bouncy. Yay!
6. Jazzy, relaxed love song, very well played.
*7. Playful & nicely energetic w/nice use of chorus.
*8. Lush, slow love song to Cape Verde. Nicely jazz-infused.
9. Midtempo & bright.
10. Warm, midtempo w/a sweet melody. Nice vocals.
11. Bright & happy w/ nice use of accordion.
12. Lovely, slow, sad song in memory of her mother.
