Swedish death metal “supergroup” with Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy) on vox instead of Mikael from Opeth along w/ Dan Swanö, (Edge of Sanity & tons of others), Anders Nystrom & Jonas Renske (Katatonia) and Martin Axenrot (Satanic Slaughter). Heavy as hell, mostly catchy tunes which get better after repeated listens. (((1))) Stop-starts like mad, picks up somewhat, stuck on bland redundancy. ((((2)))) Slaughtering fast and hella catchy chorus/breakdowns. (((3))) Blasting DM, solid groove, killer screaming towards the end. (((((4))))) Speaking of screaming...lethal, fast deadly fuckin’ death metal. (((5))) Fast & mid-paced guttural AND melodic death metal? Weird. (((6))) Slow Morbid Angel trudge. No FCCs despite the death gargle making it sound like it. (((((7))))) Rippin’ fast O.T.T. DM with massive breakdowns! ((((8)))) Excellent riffin’, hell of a groove. Creepy “flies surrond the decaying corpse.” effects. ((((((9)))))) Lowwww tuned death/thrash/doom. Fuckin’ killler drumming & soloing abound. “We’ll die for you, oh lord of death”. ((((((10)))))) Serious battering & Entombed worship. Katatonia-like in the solo. (((((11))))) Are they ever gonna let up the attack! Hell No! Giant death/thrash all ‘round. Absolut Crushing Swedish Death Metal. (((12))) Slow, winding, thudding close to old Katatonia much louder. (((((13))))) Raw, demo quality, dirtyas fuck DM. Straight outta 1990-91.
