One part The Ex, another Ex Models, dissonant yet melodic new rock borrowing heavily from post punk and no-wave, but definately taking a step forward. Think Gang of Four meets Kleenix/Lilliput. Not sure how much more of a step forward you're looking for (Sonic Youth ca. 1986?). If you don't listen youre missing out. All tracks good, mostly radio friendly, brief. 1) mechanical beat, factory manufacturing titanium oompa loompas, brief 2) upbeat crazy rock, spastic and energetic 3) mid paced epic rock melodies and beat 4) heavier beat 5) bass driven, cool guitar production, sounds, nice 6) slower swingy beat, feel 7) mechanical slower 8) plodding darkness, mundane social da da 9) no wave Kleenix/Lilliput feel for sure 10) catchy drum beat and anti-melodic feel, hit quality 11) cheesy casio drum beat under killer hollow twang guitar, spoken word layers, teacher theme for your pent up students 12) detuned guitar, with skippy strange beat and Swans like wails, truly strange and cool 13) intense dissonant rock 14) whoa! epic noisey post punk mechanical noise rock | ||
