The Blue Van - The Art Of Rolling (TVT) Pretty nice soulful Danish garage/60’s rock with a hint of psych. This is even recorded in a way t Some fun stuff-even though the vocals aren’t always on the mark.
(((1))) 60’s Garage-beat-soul-rock action. Me thinks of The Creation mixed up with something sorta modern.
((((2)))) Big ‘ol drums, “whoo-whooos”, lots of funky & twisted sounds, huge vocal sound. Great organ sound
(((((3))))) Pure garage pop perfection The Kinks with John Lord on the organ? Yeah somethin’ like that.
((4)) Thuddin’ steady, but sorta ‘eh’, this is well-tread ground.
((((5)))) Lots of wild drumming & organ with vocals that sound sorta like Ian Astbury (The Cult) & solid riffs.
((6)) Acoustic number, nice guitar playing but overall just ‘bearable’.
(((((7))))) Flute and totally spacey mellotron instrumental. Whoa! What if they did a whole album of this?!?
(((8))) Hella catchy, ‘garage pop’.
(((9))) Bluesy shuffle into bouncy 60’s laden rock.
((10)) This kinda rubs me the wrong way. I’m hearing U2 goes 60’s garage OK maybe not THAT bad but still the vocal are really BAD.
(((11))) Slow strummy, into varied loud vs. soft breakdowns of drums, organ & etc.
((((12)))) Killer drumming, organ sound & guitars.
