Your Imaginary Friend Reviewed 2005-06-28 | ||
Chronical of one-man project, body of work 1975-89, trippy noise and proto-space Moog work, treated guitar, early drum machine treatments. Add this to the list of seminal early noise artists along with Throbbing Gristle, NON, Hunting Lodge, Eno. 1) electrodrums heavily treated, winds down 2) fuzy trippy spacey guitar 3) old Moog random tones, hard panned, brief 4) dense swirling echoey synth, sci-fi and trippy 5) cool treated drum machine evolves nicely w/ minimal Moog tones, guitar work appears about ½ way in this 20 minute track 6) drum machine and synth through a plethora of effects including gated reverb, echo, strange 7) trippy Moog tones 8) brief Moog 9) sparse Moog 10) noisier Moog 11) almost videogame noisey 12) trippy loopy bells and droney tones 13) low fi acoustic guitar noodling w/ strange effects 14) trippy Moog 15) brief treated guitar |
