Wow. Great album. Combines different eras of music, very retro. Incredibly simple with fem voice. But the simplicity makes it genius. Has almost a Beatles sound to the music. Every guitar and bass riff sounds like Elvis, but she sings in the style of the Ramones. Great crossing of genres. They know what they’re doing. The entire album is awesome. No FCCs.
Track 1: Very traditional, Beatles-type sounding guitar, bass and drums. Fem. Voice, shouting. Kinda like the Jet. Awesome back to 50’s rock mixed with punk. Great combo.
Track 2: Electric guitar starts off. Same type of shout singing as track 1. 12 bar blues. Really simple. Great lyrics.
Track 3: Sounds like Beatles. Voice a little softer. Fast lyrics. Short but fun.
Track 4: Much more 50’s sock-hop. Guy back-up singers.
Track 5: Starts right off with lyrics and music. Natural flow. Guy back up singers again. She sings with incredible soul. Lyrics are really groovy.
