Sophisticated blend of world music and accessible Euro-jazz. Led by Mark Alban Lotz on flute, rarely more than 4 minutes long.
Many tracks are mellow straight jazz, like cooled-down versions of "Afro Blue" or "Caravan," very easy on the ear. A few others (1,3,9) add Lotz's world-music influences for a quirky sound. (See his "Cuban Fishes" CD in the World section.)
1- Thumb-piano pinging. Light and charming.
2- Floaty, soft
3- Quiet, playful, with goofy wordless vocal
4- Mellow, a nice jazz bit
5- Quirky mid-fast groove
6- Dreamy snippet
7- Mysterious, experimental, slow
8- Soft, simple
9- Quiet jungle beats, into jazzy vamp
10- Lullabye on thumb piano
