Album Review
Craig Matsumoto

Improv combining Japanese tradition (wood flute, stringed koto), piano, and computer electronics. The blend works surprisingly well (cf. their previous album), with Tim Perkis subtly meshing the modern electronics with the interplay of the acoustic instruments. Abstract stuff played mostly slow with a Japanese feel of quietude.

1- Placid, lots of stillness. Nice late-night track.
2- Slow and quiet, with an ominous air
3- Gets fast and tumbling
4- Piano focus, a short chamber piece
5- Drifting; lots of koto
6- Slow; kicks into a fast, choppy segment
7- Thundering piano, into quiet scattery sounds
