Okay folky atmospheric pop. Summer at Shatter Creek is a project of Craig Gurwitch. What Gurwitz does is pretty enjoyable: appealing, trembling vocals recalled Mark Kozelek over acoustic guitar and organ. The production is echoey yet organic. Spaced out and dreamy. But he does this on every track with very little variation. Stand-out tracks: 2,4,7,9

1. acoustic guitar and organ, dreamy
==> 2. pretty tense pop song
3. ominous, weird breaks
==> 4. dark waltz with piano
5. slower, dramatic ballad
6. spare ballad, weird noises, harrowing vocals
==> 7. waltz, dramatic, twinkling instrumental breaks
8. another mopey, pretty waltz. gets loud & noisy for a couple of measures before the end.
==> 9. multitracked harmonies, dreamy, backtracking
