Best described as a lullaby for twenty-somethings. Its' blend of thick/light/quiet evoke a reflective/soothing quality. Strong Beth Orton/the Cranberries influence. Soft guitars, breathy vocals and melodic tunes balanced by a steady subtle beat - either of repeated phrases or rhthym. FCC Clean. Picks 3, 4, 7.
1. Take It Back: Diriving on the road for long periods witht hte bass up. Some funk influence. Her voice is like a little bird. Heavy and quiet.2. Rocks: Meandering melody as if driving on a winding road, up and down with no apparent end. Floating inbulbble chairs. **3, Slow, Fast, Wait and See: Great lounge music for quiet party. Telling you about how rhthym and time will affect us all. **4. Swingset Chain: MOre of a beat with momentum. All your memories flying by in a car with flashes of trees and laughing kids. Nostalgic. Fades abruptly. 5. Need Air: Winding down music. Around 7-8 o clock with peachy sunset at the door. Exploring corners of the mind. Abrupt ending. Like a last word in thought. 6. Change the Station: Solitary thoughts. Dream like sequence. **7. Serial Mess: I liked this one. THe push and pull. Resolving a relationship. 8. It's yours to keep: Talking in your diary and scribbling on your bed. Pink clothes and telephone wire. Laundry waiting to be done. 9. To the Floor: Space sounds? Dreamy-driving away. Lovesick?? 10. Internal Crash: Going away, birds flying by- everything muted.
