Nightmare - Scatterraw (Hardcore Kitchen) Japanese hardcore band that dates back to the late 80’s. Lots of fast & spirited hardcore, verses in Japnese, choruses in English. Apparently the band wasn’t too pleased with some of the results. The often twangy guitar sounds are not exactly of what their “true” sound is.. Overall, a mixed bag.
(((1))) Catchy but odd clean guitar tone.
((2)) Off-kilter tuning, really loose & raw sound almost too loose. FCCs “ FUCK” sung twice
((((3)))) Thudding, mid-paced, controntational, more punk than h.c. here but still fun.
(((4))) DKs-like twangy tone, repetitve chorus & lots ranty vocal lines.
(((5)))) Sample from WWII era. Big sound, pissed off & fury filled fast-ish h.c.
(((6))) Bassy, scatter shot speed, sounds totally unfocused til they get to the break/solo.
((((7)))) Loud, brutal & noisy like Zeni Geva or Neurosis (!?) mixed with some nice, simple guitar riffing.
(((8))) Fast, chaotic but to the point.
