Bane is pretty decent but polished, modern melodic hardcore ‘ala Kill Your Idols. Their focus is a little off after a few songs or rather their focus is to do the same formula with same kind of vocals and same lyrical themes. Overall basic but pretty good.
((1)) Fast h.c. but kind confused & forced.
((2)) Mid-paced, driving modern hardcore needs to nix the mellow dramatic breakdowns (FCC “bullshit” 0:45 & “fuck” 2:55 & 3:06)
(((3))) Big sound, swaying, solid mid-to-fast paced.
(((4))) Fast & varied “we’re all in this together” or song about hoodies?
((5)) Slow & dull “reflection on life” thing. Sounds like bad Helmet. (FCC “motherfucker”)
(((6))) LOTS of gang choruses, slow chugging but pretty decent & catchy.
(((7))) Speedy, Gorilla Biscuits type of number.
((8)) Bland straight-ahead East Coast h.c.
(((9))) Turmoil/Sick of It All like battering number with melodic breakdowns.
