Instrumentals crossing between space-rock and jazz. Moods range from fairly mellow (2) to way crazy (1).

These guys will draw inevitable comparisons to King Crimson, especially if you play #4 first, but this stuff feels more fluid and open to experimentation, less adherent to a certain "geometry" of style.

Band members trade off on guitars, drums, and keyboards, with occasional loops and electronics noises thrown in, and sax (1,9), violin (8), or cornet (7).

Oh yeah, and one of those band members is KZSU's own Baud of Euphony -- which just pushes the coolness factor over the top. Play it!

1- Jazz epilepsy: A disjoint, spacey kind of chaos.
2- Cool chiming, a slow swampy feel
3- Slow guitar piece, starts chugging, gets abstract
4- Grinding guitar riff separated by improv breaks. Mid/slow
5- Calm and sparkling, with uneasy noises underneath.
6- Video game weirdness: Gloopy sounds over hyper clatter
7- Mid/fast steady simple beat -- infectious -- with various guitar noises.
8- Slow synth wading, lots of electronic experimentation
9- A more aggressive take on #1. Chaotic and harsh.
