Solo soprano saxophone, a tribute to Steve Lacy's solo work. Giardullo improvises within traditional jazz forms with touches of free-jazz runs or abstract squawking here and there (usually later in the piece). Tracks have the air of a casual stroll with occasional stops for a particular rant or declaration.

Includes two Lacy covers (2,8) and lots of Monk-inspired originals. It's interesting to note how the two Lacy tracks are different in character from the others.

- Happy casual swing. Scribbly fast runs near the end
- Slower pace, like a series of declarations
- Upbeat, a smaller curled-up feeling
- Skittery and more abstract, but builds into melody
- Mid/fast, upbeat. Pleasant wanderings.
- Slowish, a bit lonely
- Continual high sqeakings, a jumbly alien language. (Evan Parker is famous for this sort of thing)
- Pleasant angular lines
- Playful and jazzy. Joe gets wild and wooly in the final minute.
