Lo-Fi Rock/Blues with some rockabilly. The singing (male lead singer) is not that great. The guitar playing is not that great either. However, they seem to have something genuine about their music (not including the name of the CD of course). Try 2, 3, 8 and 10. 1. Dark but optimistic song. 2. Semi-humorous complaining. 3. Dark Nick-Cave-y song. 4. Country style Blues, slide guitar. 5. More rockabilly sort of Blues. 6. Dark song, raggae style. 7. Dark, maybe pompous. *8. Simple and dark Blues. 9. A slow and humorous ( I think) Rock song. *10. A funny song, something Randy Newman-ish about it. 11. Troubles, troubles, troubles. The Blues. 12. A joke song. Introducing members of the band as if in a live show. 13. A very long track recording the drummer and some friends in a restaurant in Mexico. With a monotonous music on top, it sounds surrealistic. 14. A bonus “hidden” short track. A tribute to the previous track. A mariachi song with acoustic guitar. Cute. |
