Grooving jazz, lots of "chill" sounds in percussion, flute, keys; with mellow sides of funk and "world" in there. Loaded with special guests like Oliver Lake on sax, for some exciting and aggressive solos -- those are the best moments, but they admittedly clash with the laid-back vibe. Some nice stuff; also some dangerously smooth tracks that take a giant step backwards, especially in the choice of Sade-like vocalists (and yes, I know Cassandra Wilson is one of them).

- Loping beat, knotty horn line.
- Slow sneaky groove, heats up later. Hyper drum start.
- Lush and slow, with fast dance percussion and some squirrely sax. Overall Sade-like and unfortunate.
- Slow, spacy, flowing.
- Cheesy and dumb. Just don't.
- More vocals, rather smooth
- Light, spry, mellow, with fast solos. Deft bass intro.
- Loungy female vocals, a slow bluesy jazz-club song. Nice.
