Layered, loose and soulful vamps. Female vox feels distant in the echoey mix set more under than over the upbeat but drifting instrumentation. See also: Soul-Junk's "1955" and thereabouts. FCC clean; Pick: 3 1. 7:12 - Upbeat psych shifts into a lazy, swirling, and vaguely tropical feel. 2. 3:50 - Fading and folksy. Low energy. *3. 6:21 - Middle Eastern opening to dancey 3/2 clave groove. Complete with sugary synth loops and programmed drums. Switches to echoey, bending sounds around 4:30. | ||
