Metal/hardcore/Nintendocore – funny, hit or miss music from the band that coined the term “Nintendocore.” Metal with videogame riffs, stops and starts, lots of changeups, and varied vocals from shouts, growls, to emo singing. Some tracks get pretty terrible if only for the trite emo vocals, but there’s good stuff on here. Similar to Mr. Bungle for the musical melange. FCC: 2, 11, 12. Best: 7, 9, 12.

1. Nintendocore/emo, somewhat fast.
2. FCC “fuck” many times.
3. Uptempo dancy – oof – pretty terrible with the cheesy alternative/emo vocals.
4. Starts with a swirl of dissonance, adds a beat and tons of different sounds. Funny.
5. Starts with snare drum solo, builds… noise in the background like clinking glasses and tornados?? Most of the track repeats the same guitar riff and beat over the noise.
6. Uptempo. Emo/growl vocals over synth guitar and drums. Fun breakdown with bad synth and animal samples. Gets heavier.
*7. The most metal track. Fucking great synth throughout!
8. Short instrumental track, leads into next song.
*9. Nintendocore – fast with emo/hardcore vocals – cool whispering.
10. One of the funniest tracks with total Nintendo breakdowns. Also probably the best example here of “is this funny or bad?”
11. Starts with a Nintendo riff – terrible vocals only for a second :), metal riffs, overall a good track, except there’s an FCC *fucking* around 2 minutes left.
*12. Uptempo dance/hardcore/metal/emo – sort of cut and paste style. Really tight. One FCC fuck. Last minute is different with slow guitar, drum, and synth, ends with a soft noise/buzz.
13. Very active synth part, screamo vox, metal parts – ends with an acoustic piano outro, of all things.
