1) quiet piano start shifts to pensive bow exchanges and minor brass, long contemporary avante classical composition suddenly shifts into a folky acoustic singer/songwriter tune about 7 minutes in (if you can imagine that), then the strings join back and the piece ends in dramatic fashion
