Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend
Reviewed 2006-03-31
Ultra low fi female vocals fronted noise/punk. Like a super low fi Nirvana/Hole crossed with Kitty Kat Spy Club or pre-Donnas Raggedy Anne. Drums can barely keep a beat, guitars are out of tune, and the production, well, lacks. But that makes it all the better in this era of overproduced soul-less crap. At least these kids got spunk.

1) fast slow punky, struggling to keep the beat in the most charming way
2) dirgier noise-rock feel, kind of a Bleach era Nirvana to the vocal delivery
3) slow sparse, sensitive then loud, yes theres a Hole/Nirvana connection, but much more charming
4) out of tune, clunky guitar turns fuzz onslaught
5) plodding feel
