Art & film students from Columbia got together in 1994 to make music, took 11 years to record first CD. minimalist pop meets homespun clatter and four track experiments of LAFMS & The Residents. Most tracks are slow to mid tempo and all are way too short. Nice sound that would be great from an Indie pop to Experimental show. In Spanish. ****1: 1: 21 simple string plucking, male vocal chant, cool buzz sound 2: 2:20 simple string plucking, male vocal chant, mid tempo. ***3: 1:27 neat percussion, bandolin??? mid to faster. 4: 1: 23 beautiful fem vocal. Slow. **5: 1:09 distorted, mildly chaotic, male vocal, plucked strings, in & out electronic pulse thumping at end. ****6: 2:59 dreamy swirl drone, plucked strings.slow. cool swirl sound ****7: 1: 40 dreamy swirl drone, cool chorus vocals, faster. 8: 2:11 simple percussion, struck keys??plucked strings, male spoken word/vocal, slow. ***9: 1:23 cool mid tempo percussion, keyboard/synthesizer 10: 1: 40 plucked strings, keyboard/synthesizer drone, male vocal chant 11: 1:41 strummed strings, swirl drone, male vocal chant 12: 0: 57 plucked strings,dischordant, cool sound ***13: 2:52 fem vocal, flute, plucked strings, percussion. ***14: 1:18 crickets, simple guitar, electronic drone ***15: 4: simple percussion, nice plucked strings ***16: 2:24 simple plucked strings and male vocal, slow.
