Proggy avante funky strangeness, instrumentals that border on experimental jazz, avante, low fi noise and acid drenched Kraut Rock. Project founded by Rick Potts, a long-time LA stalwart in the experimental/underground scene (see Dennis Duck, Human Hands, Keat Rides a Harley weirdness). Potts makes his own instruments, probably why most of this music is undefinable, familiar yet far from it. Jazz? No/maybe. Avante? No/maybe. Indie? No/maybe? Experimental, yes. Excellent, you better believe it.

1) pro-jazz skronky feel, qwacking bass, proggy yet weird, upbeat
2) funky progginess continues, more echoey and trippy
3) trippy experimental intro falls into loopy near downtempo 6/4 over/under beat, nice noise synth tones
4) more of an experimental weird twist with treated vocals, blurps and clonks
5) a pretty lush atmospheric soundbed to a near downtempo space beat, but with disturbing melodic string tones, beat becomes disjunct before you can possibly get bored
6) more of a prog jazz feel, starts off as a slow ¾ triplet jam, shifts into a more urgent improv before you know it, ends quite noisey
7) experimental collage, found sounds, tape loops, backwards, forwards, mostly chill/sparse and nothing droning or harsh
