Al Margolis/If, Bwana – Rex Xhu Ping (Pogus)
Found sounds, samples, tapes, synthesizers, organ, cello, clarinets and a few other things all processed and in the end sounding like minimalist computer music and drones. Some of this gets dark enough that it is close to industrial noise.
1. Mostly too quiet for radio airplay.
2. Tapes drones and slow xylophone loops. Pretty.
3. Upbeat, almost funny sounds, combined with noisy drone with voices showing up once in a while. An instrument that sounds like a Saxophone towards the end but one isn’t listed on the track.
4. Quiet drone that slowly builds but never gets to anything very loud.
**5. Darker, with horns, voices, and nice sounding somewhat random percussion. The voices sound distant and removed. All created with the “talking tapes of Adam Bohman”
6. Another darker track that is very much a drone with female voice showing up every once in a while.
