Baltic brass by way of Mexico, Klezmer, and American soul/blues/jazz/funk. This NY-based band plays flugelhorns, trumpet, accordion, clarinet, alto sax, trombone, tuba, and percussion. All instrumentals. Some of it is pretty crazy. At times it sounds like it’s fairly traditional Balkan folk, but there’s always some twist.

1. Short intro for drum/horn/chicken. Goes right into #2.
2. Drum intro, midtempo. Like a really cool halftime show.
3. Fast, fun, and brassy oom-pah jam.
*4. Wacky uptempo, cool accordion. Gets faster. Ends w/spoken word
5. Mid/uptempo w/nicely tripping feeling.
*6. Fun, lightly funky midtempo w/a retro groove feel.
7. Midtempo w/nice blend of trumpets/flugelhorns.
8. Starts slow, stately. Gets into a relaxed, jazzy, café-esque sound.
*9. Bright, happy sound w/tabla-ish perc. Fun, then twisted.
10. Big & bouncy folk dance w/great energy.
11. Relaxed w/a klezmer feel and a nice bounce.
*12. Wacky-happy polka. Everybody dance!
13. Middle Eastern mystery, down/midtempo & dramatic.
14. Hyper-fast w/a hint of Mexico. Gets midtempo.
15. Bouncy w/some lovely oom-pah bits & cool clarinet.
*16. Cool midtempo brass funk jam. Oh yes…
