Varied duets, with Daniel Carter on trumpet, sax, or flute, and Ravi Padmanabha on various instruments: tabla, drums, loops, unidentified Indian-sounding things. Tracks are apparently improvised, varying from outright jazz (3) to darkly ethereal, quasi-droning spaces with jazzy soloing (2). Great stuff, with Carter flashing some nice color on all instruments.

Quieter tracks like 2,5,6 would go well with noise-friendly late-night shows...

1- Lonely, slow sax wail. Low-key, with groaning background.
2- Slightly dark and tense. Trumpet with groaning mystery sounds. Midtempo pace, gradually gains steam.
3- Tumbling free jazz: sax/drums, a "classic" sound
4- Tribal chant, midtempo, with looped rhythm sounds and a warmly jazzy sax. Builds in intensity, then the last 10 minutes are a casual jam.
5- Serene flute. Exotic Indian/Asian feel
6- Serene clarinet, meditative feel.
7- Wandering street sax. Light, quiet. Ends abruptly.
