Chill out/World beat.
Some tracks sound forced and dated, but the more organic tracks are quite lovely. Influences from the Middle East and Africa.
FCC CLEAN.
Favorites in order:
(11) great example of world/house fusion,(8),(6),(5)
(1) Oud, slow beats. Middle Eastern influence.
(2) Down-mid tempo. Female vocals, bleepy.
(3) Downtempo. Middle eastern. Synth heavy.
(4) Downtempo. Middle eastern. More organic than 3.
**(5) 80’s style robot sounds. French speaking.
**(6) Midtempo. Oud and darbuka solo.
(7) Midtempo.
***(8) Female vocals. West African call-response.
(9) African chorus with oud mixed in and electronic sound effects. Interesting.
(10) More “Tron” sounds with Middle Eastern. Ugh.
***(11) Uptempo, great house beat. Remix of (8)
(12) Downtempo remix of (8).
