Dub-reggae from Croatia. No, that wasn’t a mis-print: from Croatia. Our buddy dj zena mailed us his reggae creation, loaded with dubby basslines, echoey guitars, circus organ, the works. Top it with exotic Slavic vocals and this sounds really bizarre and cooler than Bob Marley’s ice filled Double Bubble Bong. 1) simple folk like with harmonica, ballady 2) dubby reggae feel, cheesy electro taste though 3) dub continues, deeper 4) slower traditional Marley’esque reggae 5) dub-reggae with that circus organ thing and dub bassline 6) echoey dub, bell melodies and synth give this some flavor 7) slower, heavy backbeat 8) a bit more trad feel, horns that smack of old ska, still dubby reggae though 9) nice dub, not annoying 10) simple acoustic folk song 11) circus organ dub but very different with sci fi synth notes | ||
