Hot, sophisticated, piano-driven Latin jazz from a local artist. Featuring fluid keyboards, swinging percussion, hot horns and some vocals. Tight arrangements and good energy throughout (most songs composed & arranged by Mauleon). Lots of heat and harmonics with excellent playing from RB and her corps of great guest stars. It’s swinging, solid, and all play-worthy. Love it! No FCCs.
*1. Starts sweet, gets into a spicy uptempo jam. Great stuff!
2. Mid/uptempo w/extra brass/perc. Hot & so good.
*3. Fast & fiery version of a classic. Wickedly energetic. Yow!
4. Nicely moving cha cha w/great percussion. Very Cuban.
*5. Fast & fun jam in honor of Orlando Cepeda. Way cool!
6. Thunder leads into a mid/uptempo voodoo jazz groove.
*7. Hot mid/up piano/perc/horn jam. Wild energy, damn!
8. Midtempo blend of funk & Latin jazz. Extremely cool.
*9. Catchy, brassy, mostly midtempo & swinging. Fun.
