Strong compilation of world music with interesting diversity and good quality throughout. One or two tracks might be a bit new-agey for some, but it’s all very well played. *1. Fabulous duet from two masters. Midtempo, driving, so cool! *2. Female singer in Gaelic. Catchy, starts relaxed, picks up w/fiddle. 3. Contemporary flamenco, slightly easy listening but well played. 4. Reggae groove w/a sexy kind of sound. 5. Starts slow, picks up. Sort of Zen Lite Jazz. *6. Nicely funky Afro-beat w/cool vibes, perc, horns. 7. Downtempo Latin jazz w/sulty fem vox. *8. Upbeat Arabic flamenco, a cool blend of traditions. *9. Midtempo calabash/vox. Cool perc, expertly done. | ||
