Chill out/Soundtrack. Urbs is DJ Paul Nawrata from Austria. The G-Stone label is home to downtempo outfits like Dorfmeister and Tosca, and Peter Kruder (Tosca) co-produces on this album. The idea is to generate a French cinematic theme to the album. The vocal tracks and trip-hop influenced instrumentals are generally more interesting in my opinion.
CLEAN. NO FCC’s.
Favorites in order: (10) and (11), (5), (2), (1)
**(1) German female vocals, seductive, chilled.
**(2) Downtempo instrumental, thoughtful, trip-hoppy.
(3) Downtempo instrumental.
(4) Instrumental, harpsichord. Slightly boring.
**(5) Midtempo, bouncy. Male vocals, cinematic strings.
(6) Action film soundtrack instrumental.
(7) More of the harpsichord. Carnival sound instrumental.
(8) Eerie, dramatic, instrumental.
(9) Perky instrumental, some jazziness.
***(10) Trip hoppy, jazzy number with female vocals.
***(11) Downtempo, sad, layered instrumental.
