Wonderful, joyous, well-played Hawaiian music. Great slack-key work and vocal harmonies from this trio. Tracks include 7 original songs, 4 classic Hawaiian tunes, and 1 chant. A few guests stop by to add voices, guitar, strings, or piano. It really captures the feeling of the island – put the top down, take a drive on the Queen’s Highway and keep an eye out for wild donkeys. Lyrics in Hawaiian. All good.

*1. Bright, swinging ode to the women of the island. Warm & catchy.
2. Relaxed hula w/a sweet sense of nostalgia & sweet vocals.
*3. Sweet, midtempo song about a hometown. Nice light touch.
*4. Upbeat w/a tight arrangement good playing & vocals. Fun.
5. Slow & lovely w/a delicate sadness. Lyrical w/nice use of strings.
*6. Fast w/a sort of retro-Hawaiian silliness. Great playing.
7. A capella chant w/background of waves.
*8. Happy, uptempo w/some good guitar work & a surf’s up feel.
9. Strings lead into a slow, gentle ballad. Elegant & graceful.
10. Piano adds an old-fashioned touch to this mid-tempo love song.
11. Spoken word into a romantic wedding song. More speech at end.
*12. Fast & happy w/a catchy, contemporary Hawaiian sound. Yay!
