CDR format of the self-titled 3 LP set where essentially one man band Adrian Orange (although probably supported with many a Pacific Northwest musical luminary) has created a beautiful series of minimal yet simultaneously expansive ballads. Orange is only 20 yet his voice, sounding a lot like the guy from Smog, sounds much more lived-in and his general sense of weariness more than credible. There's downplayed acoustic guitars, plenty of hand claps, slightly off but still melodic singing, noise and fuzz, and a pervasive, lingering quality to all of this. It really needs to be heard in full, but unless you have an hour and 17 minutes to spare almost nothing here will disappoint. FCCs: #4, #9, #19

1. Fuzzy, hand-percussion, sounds rainy, fades out
*2. Breaks into fast, pacing percussion over languid vocals
*3. Somber, vox mumble out, distant guitar, hands rubbing together, ends abruptly
4. FCCs. "Fuck the world/Just being me."
5. Pretty fizzing then dissolving noises.
6. Syncopated hand percussion dominates here.
7. Rainy, barely there acoustic guitar, somber themes
8. Doubled up vocals
9. FCCs. simple, vocals and sparse, distant acoustic guitar
10. Elongated vocals, a little chilling
*11. Dramatic piano, unaccompanied vocals at the end seals the noir-ish feel
*12. Doubled up vocals, chimes, even bits of electric guitar
13. Higher pitched vocals, more accompaniments
14. Island sounds? Are those steel drums?
15. Pretty, overwhelming co-ed chorus
*16. Most electric song here, wildly distorted guitars, more narrative
**17. Cool intro, with overlapping instrumentation in an echo effect, epic feel
18. Possibly the only misstep…a little too coffee shop poetry recital
*19. Piercing humming background, doubled-up vocals. FCCs
20. Neat timing, languished vocals pick up mid-song and end in a crescendo
21. A more nonchalant vocal style
*22. Piercing, earnest lyrics
23. Deep bass drum line
24. Simple but poignant closer
