Frank Zappa compositions done in jazzy big-band arrangements. Fun and even danceable, joyous and accessible, but packed with the quirks, complexity and humor that permate Zappa's work. Like wedding-band jazz, only cool... instruments include the usual horn array, rock guitar (6), and prog/fusiony keys (4,8). Highly recommended, but you shouldn't necessarily take your clothes off. Mostly instrumental; FCC clean.

- Mid/fast. Easygoing and nicely rolling, catchy. Multiple phases including a slower, loungy stretch with piano. Wacky ending.
- Latin jazz, mid/fast and happy
- Perky modern-classical feel, fast. Cools down for sax solo, then ends with some dizzying fast work
- Bouncing, happy, mid/fast. Complicated, a bit head-spinning
- Low-key but fairly fast, a bit sad
- Rocking. '70s detective movie sound. Some cool avant-R&B horn lines. Searing guitar solo.
- With VOCALS, mid/fast. Opens with downtrodden feel/lyrics for 3 mins, then a light, airy take on "Oh No"
- Big breezy swing, whimsical, light. Fusiony feel, including a kinda proggy keyboard solo
