Split ep: dark treated noisey sample-laden electro, creative and killer from local projects, kzsu faves, band-mate of the Bawd of Eupony, member of Modular Set. Crazy good stuff that combines ambience, noise, sample art, electronica (and performance art when live). Think Eno with a head injury, Throbbing Gristle recovering from one. SMCH: 1) deep treated rhythm, drums, bass, with sample fighting their way up, noisey and dark yet trippy and downtempo 2) FCCs Borful Tang: 3) disjunct feel, ambient trippiness on one level and noisey on another, drum and bass rauciousneess, voice samples 4) slowed, weird, “sick and twisted”, “bent” and all those other great adjectives that got mis-used in the 90’s, but this is it for reals | ||
