Guitar-bass-drums trio that leans towards an avant-rock sound with shades of blues -- a dark atmosphere overall, sometimes grumpy, sometimes lyrical. The bass and drums add a propulsive free-jazz feel. Pieces appear to be improvised, so maybe you could call it free-avant-blues jamming. The fourth in a series of guitar trio CDs from Atavistic (see also Cline/Parkins/Rainey).

*- Dark, mid-aggressive jungle
*- Nice bluesy/jazzy feel, midtempo and easygoing, pleasant
- Sparse industrial chugging
- Calm post-rock melody. Builds into loud swells of sound
- Spare motor-revving sounds; twiddly bass and drums. Calm.
- Slow rock feel, a tad bluesy but slowly wandering/free
*- Casual midtempo bluesy improv, pretty good
*- Menacing buzz, fast tribal beat
*- Melodic and a bit sinister, midtempo. Tinges of blues.
- Anthemic guitar chords, with LONG pauses
