Pretty nice 60’s inspired psych-pop from New Jersey with a few standard cover songs thrown in. Overall a good effort. (((1))) Up tempo, repetitive psych-pop. ((((2)))) Byrds-ian, jangle & twang by way of mod sounds. Sounds like it was recorded in ’66 or ’67. Guitars & vocal harmonies work well. ((3)) Flat and bland twang bordering on slow power pop. (((4))) Mostly psych & groove with really nice female vocals. ((((5)))) Another good mix of the mod, jangle and 60’s organ sound. ((6)) Really generic ‘hip swinging’ mid-60’s rock. (((7))) Good cover of an old Music Machine track with well-executed vocals and rockin’ guitar. ((8)) Nerdy twang & strum pop. (((9))) Organ-laden slowish, melting melodic psych with decent female vocals. (((10))) Sound a LOT like some lost 1967 b-side from The Who. Excellent blend of vocals, guitar and guitar. ((11)) Clean, poppy, swinging sound. A little TOO clean & redundant to work. (((12))) Dirty white dude blues-rock. ((13)) “Doot-dooot-doo” guitars, real simple arrangement that swipes a few things from the Beatles & Monkees. ((((14)))) Hazy, swagger & twang from some unknown B-movie. |
