Low-fi stripped down junkie grungey rock. Fans of Royal Trux, stripped down Nirvana, drunk Iggy Pop, jonesing Lou Reed, sloppy trashy rock themes alert. Punky guitars played in the back of a double-wide, smacked out male slightly twangy vocs, pretty female vocs juxtaposed, simple drum beats. Simple stuff, melodic and catchy.
FCC clean. My picks: 1, 2
1) minimal slow low-fi grungy rock, fuzzy junkie vocs
2) low fi simple junkie themed stuff with female vocs singing chorus
3) upbeat rock beat, childlike simple melody hooks over minor bar chord bashing
4) somber Nirvana feel, female vocals
5) smarmy jazzy white boy funky swing feel
6) dissonant guitar, very Cobain, miserable/ironic lyrics
7) 9th chord smarmy feel does the quiet/loud thing with distortion
8) another simple feel, story telling junkie anthemic, good feel “more sex more drugs, just cant enough”, Lou Reed feel
