Gorgeous psych-folk and bits of experimentalism from the very talented duo of Tara Van Flower (Lycia) and Timothy Renner (Stone Breath). Plenty of hypnotic duets often with a haunting simplisticty. A number of these are 100+ year old standards but rearranged in their own way. Giving each track it’s own uniqueness. Great early morning or late night listening.

((((1)))) Trippy, duet with a lot of echo on the vocals.
(((((2))))) Very nice acoustic strum with Renner’s low tone mixing with Van Flower’s ethereal voice.
((((3)))) Slow, airy, minimal with a filter of random electronics.
(((((4))))) Trad. folk with a chilly warble underscoring it all.
(((((5))))) Lots of chimes & Tara’s “free singing” of “da-da-na-na” then some creepy, distant spoken words. Best unheard Argento film soundtrack.
(((((6)))) Weiiiird, strummy, “witchy” ritualistic uh…”freaky folk” ?
((((7)))) Slow traditional, sullen “folk music for funerals”.
(((8))) Slow, sitar drone and more ethereal vocals.
(((9))) Cascading water, continues the drone theme but both vocalists singing a very slow structured style. Odd but compelling.
((((((10)))))) Beautiful duet and great vocal performance from both members.
(((((11))))) Another perfect sounding duet, nice “olde tyme-y” sunny folk.
