Straight contemporary jazz for large-ish band, with a robust, clean sound. No particular surprises in this mainstream set, and some of it gets over-emotive (i.e. cheesy). But there are some nice touches in the soloing segments. The solos generally impressed me more than the compositions.

- Slow, somber intro to 2
- Mid/fast, brisk uptempo horns. Robust, clean sound.
- Soft, quieter sound
- Faux-Asian theme, retro sounding. Mid/fast, serious, placid. Finally gets swinging for the solos.
- Fairly fast, soaring feel, after a slow quiet intro.
- Mellow midtempo, romantic. Starts slow.
- Slow
- Gentle, spare intro to 9.
- Gentle, lush, cheesy.
- Slowish snaking theme, into big slow horns.
- Slow, slow intro, into fairly fast space. Big, buzzy sax solo
- Slow, w/free-floating sax atop fast chiming piano.
