Excellent stuff. Retro Rock with Blues influences. Think Led Zeppelin, Donovan (there is some folksy sensibility) and maybe a tad of David Bowie. Gravely male vox with lots of fuzzy guitars, heavy drums, and some more - pretty big sound, and done nicely. Coming from Liverpool, this guy that once collaborated and played with Ladytron produces here an EP that more than anything else goes back to the beginning of Led Zeppelin, or at least to that era. All songs are worth playing. FCC clean.
/3:47. Strong and steady beat Rock song, with Mission impossible kind of bass line. Big fuzzy sound – Wah wah Guitars, hand clapping and drums.
/5:00. A Donovan-like song. Steel guitar and a repetitive Folk-Blues structure.
/3:36. A fuzzier Led Zeppelin.
./4:32. Psychedelic bluesy acoustic song.
/4:10. Sort of a happy, yet longing song. I think that I can hear in addition to Led Zeppelin some Steely Dan influences, maybe Beatles too.
