Wow, here's a cool find from 1972. Jazz with a '70s mix of Latin and soul in there, anchored by tons of Latin percussion, plus some McCoy Tyner-esque piano in a few spots (played by George Cables; track 3 in particular) and some nice Joe Henderson sax. Gasca himself plays trumpet and flugelhorn.
Now, if you can't stand that Carlos Santana "San Francisco" sound ... stay away. He's here, as are Neil Schon (guitar), Greg Rolle (keys), etc.
